Senior Executive, IT User Support

Description

  • Monitor, coordinate and actively participate in projects and initiation life cycle i.e. Request form Information (RFI), Request for Proposal (RFP) and User Acceptance Test (UAT) / System Integration (SIT).
  • Assist in production and functional support on the new and existing systems.
  • Assist Head Business Support on IT-related procurement process and payments.
  • Ensure the Bank’s standards and procedures are followed and adhered to.
  • Handle the Bank’s project based on the System Development Life Cycle and applies the correct techniques and technologies.
  • Handle and support Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Management.
  • Provide continuous functional training to the internal users.
  • Analyse issue logs logged by users via e-Help pertaining to all main system functionalities.
  • Understand all functionalities in the system, to align all approaches and set-up in the Financial Application with the Bank’s objectives.
  • Ensure all the spending for system improvement is within the approved budget.
  • The task also includes all other duties that assigned by the supervisor.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Support the following systems and their improvement for operational efficiency and effectiveness. The main systems are:
  • Core Banking System (CBS)
  • FOS – Interfaces e.g. CCRIS, CTOS, CBM and CBS(XML Gateway)
  • Treasury Management System(Quantum)
  • Financial Application System(TechOne)
  • Malaysian Financial Reporting Standard (MFRS9)
  • Credit Operations System (COS)
  • Collection Management System (CMS)
  • MySMEBank (Online Application System)
  • 4SME – Mobile App.
  • Scanning Invoices System (ESKER)
  • Electronic Data Management System (EDMS)
  • Human Resource Management System (HRMS)
  • Payment Gateway e.g RENTAS, CIMB, BIRO, Virtual Account
  • e-Procurement
  • BNM Applications’ e.g. CCRIS, RENTAS and KIJANGNET
  • E-Help Ticketing System
  • Oracle Business Intelligent Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) Reporting
Operation:
  • Handle the Change Control Request (CCR) and Problem Logs request by users;
  • To ensure the issues resolved timely
  • Provide support for FLEXCUBE End Of Day (Day).
  • Prepare documents for Production Deployment (Change Request Form)
  • To communicate and work closely with Technical Support team on any issues related to Application;
  • Study user / system requirements and liaise with vendors on any system related request;
  • To design, develop, review and implement the IT standard operating procedures and policies for completeness and compliance;
  • To advise and recommend system solution to management which are cost –effective and serve the needs of the organization;
  • To clean up non-compliance finding of Application Management / Management Services / System Operation and IT security;
  • To manage the application business requirements form all operating units in the evaluation of software solution project implementation and other project-related discussion;
  • To review and update the application policies and procedures accordingly;
  • Register and response to all user requests / enquiries and perform Level 1 support;
  • Monitor all outstanding helpdesk problem logs and ensure vendor’s responded to the stipulated response time;
  • To ensure staff to comply & report on Anti Money Laundering (AMLA), frauds and defalcations (including attempted frauds) and breaches of Employee Code of Conduct; and
  • To perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Project Management:
  • Monitor closely on each of every deliverable / milestone as per the project plan;
  • To ensure application project and programme services delivery met the business and operational requirements and standards;
  • Prepare and compile all the project papers such as Status Report, strategy paper for rollout and testing; and
  • Assist Business Project Manager by ensuring all deliverable based on Scope of Work (SOW) or Business Requirement Specification (BRS). 

Accountabilities

  • Ensure meeting the application service level agreement
  • Ensure effective and efficient application service delivery and implementation
  • Ensure review and changes to functional request for new/ enhanced application system

Qualification & Experience

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in related industries; had assumed management positions with good professional ethics and occupational track records. (Senior Executive)

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields, and in possession of relevant professional qualifications fulfilling the regulatory requirements (if any).

Experience
