Senior Executive, Guarantee

Description

  • Assisting in managing Guarantee Unit’s portfolio and ensuring all cases are in order for all financing.
  • Monitoring and supervising of guarantees by Credit Guarantee Corporation (M) Bhd (CGC) and Syarikat Jaminan Pembiayaan Perniagaan Berhad (SJPP).
  • Assisting in the improvement of the process and procedures in the SJPP and Guarantee
  • To carry out strategies effectively and involved in special projects undertaken under LEAN and digitalization initiative within the guidance of Head of Department.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • To monitor expiry of CGC/ SJPP guarantee for Enterprise Centres (ECs), Business Units (BUs) and relevant departments in the Bank.
  • Maintain proper records on all guarantee transactions and monitoring of CGC & SJPP’s portfolio.
  • Handles queries and provide technical advice to EC and customer
  • Manage all CGC & SJPP related matters with regards to guarantee new cases, renewal and claims.
  • Ensure reports for internal & external for CGC & SJPP are delivered on a timely basis.
  • Product training to EC for new processes / new product launch
  • Collection of advance payment for guarantee cases.
  • Preparation of monthly reports – renewal, claims , advance payment collection and others as and when required
  • To coordinate with SJPP and CGC and all guarantee related matters
  • To assist in project initiative i.e digitalization initiative and LEAN
  • To comply &report on Anti-Money Laundering (AMLA), frauds, and defalcations (including attempted frauds), breaches of Employee Code of Conduct, robberies &burglaries.
  • To perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.

Accountabilities

  • Ensure timely renewal of CGC & SJPP guarantees
  • Collection of advance payment for guarantee cases
  • Ensure maintenance of records for CGC & SJPP transactions

Qualification & Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in banking and financial institution; with good professional ethics and occupational track records.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in relevant fields,
